Ms. Michelle Price
Michelle has been involved in Dance from the age of six with a passion for Ballet. She has completed Intermediate level in RAD, Elementary in ISTD, levels 1, 2 and 3 in DES, Gold level in Acro-Gymnastics, as well Jazz training. She also trained in the Stott Pilates method and is a Yoga instructor. Michelle has taught Ballet, Jazz, Acro-Gymnastics, and Pilates in many studios throughout Calgary. Her love of teaching Dance, lead her to pursue her teaching degree with a French major at the University of Calgary. She has infused her love of dance and choreography into her career as a teacher by directing and choreographing many productions for children of all ages. Michelle is delighted to be a lead the Dance programme at Western Canada High School and to have worked with Maria Webb on Centre Stage productions and the 25th and 26th Annual Alberta Dance Explosions. She is now balancing her love of French with her love of Dance as she continues to teach in the International Languages Department while leading Dance and teaching the Leadership in the Arts 35 course at WCHS.
She is the proud recipient of the Loran Teachers Building Leaders Award.
